PETTING FARM
Our charming onsite farm is home to a delightful collection of friendly animals, including a playful herd of goats, our much-loved ducks (Ronnie and Reggie) and two magnificent peacocks who proudly roam the grounds. It’s a wonderful place for guests of all ages to slow down, connect with nature and enjoy the peaceful countryside setting.
CHICKEN EXCLOSURE
As you wander through our castle grounds, you’ll come across our lovingly designed chicken enclosure, a haven for our feathered friends. It is a testament to our commitment to sustainable practices and providing our guests with the essence of farm-to-table freshness.
BEEHIVES
As you step into the castle grounds, you’ll be greeted by a beautifully landscaped area that houses our buzzing community of honeybees. Guests can enjoy and take home jars of honey produced by the honeybees right here at Carr Hall Castle.
BLUEBELL WALK
As you embark on your woodland walk, you step into a realm of enchantment and tranquillity. The air is crisp and fragrant, carrying the earthy aroma of decaying leaves, moss, and the sweet scent of pine. There are plenty of scenic resting areas along the walk, giving nature lovers a chance to take in the breathtaking views of the castle grounds & our bluebell meadow.
CASTLE GROUNDS
From the vantage point of the castle, the surrounding landscape unfolds like a living tapestry. Rolling hills, blanketed in vibrant shades of green, extend as far as the eye can see. Lush meadows dotted with wildflowers, swaying gently in the breeze, create a picturesque foreground that complements the regal presence of our castle.
LAKESIDE WALK
As you approach the lake, you’ll be greeted by the sight of a charming bridge, gracefully arching over the glistening surface of the water. It serves as a gateway to a world of exploration and offers a vantage point from which to admire the natural beauty that surrounds you.
